Marc München is a very nice hotel, with clean, comfortable rooms and a fabulous breakfast buffet that includes made to order omelets. The staff is very polite and helpful. I would give it 5 stars if it was on a different street in a nicer area. I felt perfectly safe but it wasn’t the best. However it was super convenient to the main train station (half a block walk) as well as to the Altstadt—10 minute walk. And it was favorably priced.

Lovely, quiet hotel located within a block of the main train/subway station (München-Hauptbahnhof). We used the subway or train almost every day of our visit to either visit parts of Munich or take longer day trips to Salzburg or Nuremberg. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and quiet. Equipped with safe, fridge and coffeemaker+. En-suite bath had two showerheads and a towel warmer. We opted to include the expansive breakfast buffet, which was delicious. We skipped lunch most days as a result of our filling breakfast. Jean-Claude at the front desk was a delight, and ever so helpful. We chatted with him most days and exchanged travel anecdotes. Highly recommend staying here for your trip to Munich.

This is a hotel with FABULOUS front desk people. Every person we approached--whether registering, leaving, or just asking questions-- seemed like a highly trained hotel person, in addition to being humorous and excellent in a variety of their --and our-- languages. The hotel is clean and offers what hotels in its class offer. One thing missing, and the hotel can't do anything about it, is the late night outing to a nearby shop for fruit, cookies, or whatever. The street is busy, and not welcoming after dark.

Very nice place to stay in Munich! Easy walk to the main train station. Old town area (Marienplatz, etc.) s just a 10-15 min walk. The rooms was clean, quiet, and well appointed. Comfy bed. The breakfast was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Marc. I found them by way of a mention in the New York Times. The location is fantastic and I was able to walk or transit to museums, recreation, and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful with getting around. Thank you.
